I hope nobody is planning on continuing the past few weekends' curses just for the heck of it, because I can tell you right now the police won't be tolerating innocent people getting involved in dangerous activity. I'm glad they're over, even if that stadium isn't gone yet. Nobody I know was hurt, right? I feel out of the loop, and that makes me nervous that something's going on that I don't know about.

Well, it's all true or else you'd know I was lying. That's a bit of a pain. Some things aren't meant to be said out loud.

It was a curse like this a few months after I arrived that made me admit to being attracted to Logan. It's a little strange, but I've always gotten in trouble for speaking out more often than I should than not speaking out often enough. Like that time... Heh. A good kind of trouble. Anyways.

Sam, if i remember correctly you own a garage? I have a car that desperately needs some fixing up. More like bodywork than any real engine work. Unless you're not too busy to do it yourself, Logan. Or you could work together on it, I don't mind. I trust you both to take good care of her.

I'm glad that curse is over. Although some people were obviously taken surprised by the curse, others were taking full advantage of it. If I manhandled anyone in the course of trying to make my way across the city unmolested I apologize, but I wasn't about to let someone slap me in the face for no good reason.

If you were accosted by someone acting on my instructions the other day I apologize, but I was completely cursed. I wouldn't be that obvious do anything like that without good reason. The Police are here to serve the interests of the citizens, not themselves or the state. In an ideal world.

The amusement park seems nice, but I hope that everyone's on their guard to a certain extent because it is rare that the City gives something nice without also giving something horrible to go along with it. Disturbing, when you can't even trust an amusement park, isn't it? If you weren't cynical coming into this city, you certainly will be by the time you leave. If you leave.

Alright, so we've got a few jobs on the go right now. First of all, there's been rumour of headless bodies being found around the city, one or two at a time. Keep an eye out, but I haven't seen anything conclusive yet.

As you've most likely noticed, Blitza Airflyer was killed in a vigilante attack by a man going under the name and guise of Rorschach. We don't condone vigilanteism under any degree and this will be treated like any other murder investigation. Captain Kuchiki is heading up this investigation, so any pertinant information should go to him. My main concern is that he may have collaborators or sympathizers interested in doing similar acts in the near future. Find out what you can about these people and whether or not another attack is immanent.

We've also got a man named Kimblee who has been making general threats against the police and the City in general, so keep an eye on him, he has been reported as being highly dangerous and volatile. No matter what, don't rise to his taunts. Professionalism, please.

That should be enough to keep everyone busy for a while.

That last curse didn't seem to do much harm. Finally got down to starting that garden in the front of the house, although I'll have to make time to keep it up. Tiger lilies, some chives, assorted perennials. Everything seems to grow in this soil, but you never know what the curse days will do to a garden - I'm sure we're due a random snowstorm or somesuch.

If anyone has any additional information they'd like to share about the terrorist attacks that have yet to do so, now would be the time.

Thanks to everyone who worried about me or came to see me in the hospital. I appreciate it. I do wonder why I didn't end up completely dead, though, if you know what I mean. I've been keeping a low profile, trying to see what I can find on my own. Short answer: nothing much. We need some luck on our side. We're almost there.

In more mundane matters, I've asked Tony Stark to take a look at our network, since I can't understand half of anything Amanda Claire wrote down before leaving, and I suspect she didn't write down half of the things in her head. I kind of miss having Linnaeus around, even if he is supposed to be my soul, and thus hasn't actually gone anywhere. It's comforting, always having someone around who knows you. I guess that's the appeal of marriage.

Well, it's been a pretty quiet week. I don't see what all the fuss was about the flavour curse, trying a new taste every once in a while never hurt anyone.

It's hard to believe that I've been here for over four months now. I miss the reliability of home, where things tend to stay the same from day to day, but I've still learnt a lot since I came here, met a lot of new people I wouldn't have otherwise. It feels like a test, and I hate to say a kind word in favour of the deities, but it's nice to push my limits and stretch out. Who knew?
