061 - gain
Well, I am now the proud owner of a '68 Ford Mustang GT. I refuse to have any kind of buyer's remorse over buying this car because 1 - we need a car, and 2 - I've always wanted this car. One of my best friends in high school was obsessed with Steve McQueen and made me watch Bullitt at least a dozen times with her. Now I'll admit that the Dodge Charger is a stronger, faster car, but you can't deny the sheer sex appeal of the Mustang. It needs a new paint job, new wheels, the body has some dents and rust showing, not to mention the interior is shit, but the engine purrs like a kitten. With any luck in a few months she'll be looking as good as she feels.

If I was a guy, you could call this a mid-life crisis, but thankfully women have no such thing.

I'm also bringing a friend home with me today. I don't know how well keeping a dog in the house will go, but no one else seems to want him and I know Nicholas wouldn't want him abandoned.

Has anyone spoken to the Deities about setting a date for the trial?

[ooc: Yup, that's totally a jab at you, Styles. Picking a fight for the sake of eliciting some sort of emotional response.

George just bought a 1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback with a V8, 335hp 7L Cobra Jet engine. The mun was inspired by Uncanny X-Men 502, you can see the pages here and here (note that they misspelled Maserati. Fail, editors.). You can watch the scene from Bullitt here ]

No, I have not.

[ooc: Since one of his attorneys' players just took a two week hiatus, I am going to be winging it for the moment and will not be pinning down a date at this point. Not ideal, but I don't do high pressure scheduling.]

Whassat, "familiarity and contempt" or something? C'mon. If there's one thing I can appreciate, it's taste in cars. And clothes.

I'm Richard Haywood, by the way, and the pleasure's all mine.
